I’ve just finished watching the last episode of ‘Jericho’. The CBS network hit-series from 2006 really caught my attention and I rushed through it in no time. To my dismay I found that the second series was only 7 episodes. After a bit of searching I discovered that the show was cancelled by CBS due to low ratings. I found that hard to believe.
After the show was cancelled, six million(!) people in the US alone found the time and effort to mail a nut (yes, a nut) to CBS headquarters. The nut points back to one of the episodes where a war veteran tells an anecdote. Google it. Not all fans will take the effort to actually and actively protest, so 6 million is quite a lot and it gives an idea about the huge fan-base.
A lot of speculations are going around the internet on the decision of CBS to cancel the show. One of them is that CBS got ordered by the US government. The storyline contains companies like Jennings&Rall (Halliburton) and Ravenwood (Blackwater) that resemble their real life examples in a rather scary way. Combine that with militant civilians that no longer put up with a lying and corrupt government and you have a White-House panic on your hands.
My guess is that this could well be the real reason for canceling the show.
Or am I being paranoid?

You’re being paranoid
Why was Firefly cancelled?! Tell me that! ;_;
Firefly? Hmmm, firefly…
*fires up IMDB*
No, you’re not paranoid. You just start to see. You just start to question who is behind the curtain and why. Please keep asking question and make your own opion. You’ll discover things you need to find on your own for you to believe it and judge them.
But yes, their is more behind it then low ratings. Some shows are ordered like Full House, X-Files and NCIS and some are canceled even before they air. Please check out what branding and shock therapy really mean for you as person.
The Jericho show was excellent. This decision looks like a communistic decision. Where is the famous American democracy and freedom???
