Last Sunday, I was invited to tag along and shoot photos at the opening of a new venue in Raamsdonksveer.
The owner has a taunting, but viable plan to make this location and stage into a new music podium in the area. With room for 1500 people, a large stage equipped with all stuff you would expect, I think he could very well have something going there.

The first band, ‘Mayor Myx’, played a set of their own songs in a somewhat ‘classic’ symphonic rock setting. Maybe that’s a wrong or unjust label, but that is how I would categorize the sound. The second band, ‘Impulse’ played Pink Floyd covers in a *very* convincing way. Impressive.
Not really my genres, but I enjoyed both bands nevertheless.
